The driver of the special forces unit "Akhmat" of the Russian Army was able to save his tank with the help of improvised means when the combat vehicle stalled during shelling by the radicals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction. This was told to the Telegram channel WarGonzo by the tanker's comrade with the call sign Chapai.

“An example of composure and experience,” the authors of the publication noted.

As soldier "Chapai" reported, the tank driver found an unconventional solution to the problem during a combat clash. When the vehicle lost its speed under fire from Kyiv radicals, the resourceful tanker replaced the broken starter and short-circuited the battery with a tablespoon.

WarGonzo emphasized that this improvisation made it possible to save the crew and evacuate the combat vehicle from the danger zone.

It is worth noting that this is far from the only interesting story related to Russian tank heroes. In early April of this year, the Ministry of Defense reported on a driver who defeated a Ukrainian fighter in hand-to-hand combat and took him prisoner.
